 A new report from British climate change skeptic Christopher Monckton (or Lord Monckton if your feeling formal) is making life very difficult for global warming fanatics. After studying the Remote Sensing Systems’ satellite-based climate data, he found that there has been absolutely no global warming for 17 years and 11 months! Even more damning, however, is the study that Professor Ross McKitrick, an economist from the University of Guelph, has just completed showing that statistics prove there has been no global warming for 19 years! Even more interesting is this tidbit:  This is the longest continuous period without any warming in the global instrumental temperature record since the satellites first watched in 1979. It has endured for half the satellite temperature record. Yet the Great Pause coincides with a continuing, rapid increase in atmospheric CO2 concentration. These dueling studies, completed by two leading thinkers and climate change experts, hasn’t even made a ripple on national news media. Strange, isn’t it? You’d think with all of the global warming hysteria we’ve dealt with for the last two decades, (that’s twenty years, folks) the media would be keen to offer up this huge news. But no. Instead they’ll have some representative of the Church of Global Warming come on their show and explain how this “pause” is simply more evidence of global warming. Because remember:
